On stage, the overall shape of the concert, that is, the long-term rhythmic structure, is controlled by the DJ and the PitchWeb. Both have the ability to greatly influence both the tempo and the musical style throughout the performance. Their major concern, however, is shaping the concert musically over the entire length of time in some kind of coherent, meaningful way that will allow the moment-to-moment musical details to unfold naturally.
